Resource

Hello! My name is Adriana Howe and I am the Resource Teacher at Divine Providence School. I work with all grades supporting students in the areas of math, reading and language arts. It is very exciting to be able to work with so many different students!
I have always loved helping and working with children and knew that teaching was the perfect profession for me. I received my Bachelors of Arts degree in Education at Concordia University Chicago. Concordia is also where I earned my Masters in Reading Education degree. In the past I have worked as a fifth grade teacher’s assistant, taught first grade at St. Bernard School in Springfield, Ohio and last year I taught fifth grade here at DP. I have also had the opportunity to work with a variety of grade levels from kindergarten up to eighth grade while teaching reading at an afterschool reading clinic during my graduate studies.
My favorite part of teaching is working with the students and sharing something new and exciting with them every day! I also love not only teaching the students, but learning from them as well.
In addition to my family at Divine Providence, my husband and I have three lovely children! When I am not at school I enjoy bike riding, cooking and baking, watching movies with my family and of course reading!
If you ever need to speak with me feel free to call the school office, e-mail me at
