Preschool

Divine Providence Early Childhood Program provides a nurturing, well rounded education. The staff of the preschool team strives through age appropriate activities to help foster the growth of each child. The program helps students gain confidence in all that they do and say. Many opportunities are available for parent participation.

Religion
Students learn simple prayers, the Sign of the Cross and simple Bible stories.
Social Studies
Students will be aware of themselves and their families. They will learn to recognize rules in our surroundings and routines in the classroom.
Language Arts/Reading
Preschoolers learn to listen attentively to a story. They are taught how to describe events and pictures.
Mathematics
Student’s math skills are acquired through graphing, counting, number recognition, sorting and an introduction of shapes and colors.
Science
Students develop an awareness of weather, seasons, day/night. They will explore, ask questions, and experiment through hands-on projects.
