Hello!  I am Christine Shuflit and I am the preschool teacher here at Divine Providence School.  This is my thirteenth year of teaching and my fourth year here at DP.  I grew up in Oak Park and went to St. Giles and then to Trinity High School. I received my Bachelor's Degree and my Master's in early childhood from Dominican University.

I am a big proponent of Catholic Schools.  They provide a moral fiber in children that you just don't see everywhere.  All my educational years were spent in Catholic Schools.

I love teaching young children.  They have a love of learning because it is all new to them.  I love giving the three year olds a chance to try, touch, smell, and taste things in our world around us.  I love a hands on approach but also focus on an academic curriculum.  I look forward to interacting and nurturing our students this coming year!
