4th Grade!
_______________________________________________________________________________

Welcome to the exciting 4th grade at Divine Providence School. My name is Paula Duff and I'm looking forward to another learning-packed year. We'll start off the school year by raising and tagging Monarch Butterflies destined for Mexico, create scrapbooks as an ongoing, pictorial history of 2011-2012, join the 4th grade Reading Club, learn how to diagram, write essays and book reports, and explore the many facets of creative writing and drama, but, most importantly, we will learn more about our Catholic Faith.
I have a Bachelor of Arts in Education with a minor in English, and graduate work in counseling from the University of Maryland. In addition, I have graduate credits in English from George Mason University, Virginia. I have 16 years of teaching under my belt and this will be my 7th year at Divine Providence. My favorite part of teaching is learning new ways to teach. It is a blessing to be on a team that embraces the Catholic Faith so wholeheartedly, be part of a faculty that truly cares about students, parents, and each other, and am able to work with dedicated parents. I consider myself very fortunate to work at Divine Providence School.
