Greetings Alumni!  Much is happening at DP these days, from a visit today from our local fire department to some exciting new programs and technologies being introduced in our school.   

Our enrollment has risen to 210 students this year, the largest number in about a decade.  The increase came not just in the preschool and pre-k classes (which are full), but we even had new additions in K, 1st, 2nd, 4th, 6th and 7th grades, as well. This increase reflects our ongoing commitment to excellence and our goal of educating every child to reach their full potential academically, socially and spiritually.

Student success is our goal!  In addition, to our already dedicated and talented faculty, we now have a reading specialist. She provides us with on-site testing to identify student problem areas, guidance in tailoring classroom lessons, and individual assistance to strengthen student skills.  We are very happy to welcome this professional assistance.

On Saturday, November 5th DP hosted an Alumni Dinner/Dance.  We will be posting pictures from the event soon.

Future newsletters will tell about our advanced technology in the classrooms, our green initiatives and how simple composting worms have turned out to be a “pet project” for all our students.
